Barnyard Blues

By 13th Floor Elevator
1969/International Artists

While we usually focus on black music, we do dig psych sounds much! Long time favorite is this twisted blues from cult US outfit!

  1. Nick says:

By far their best album. The insanely controlling Tommy Hall and his insufferable ‘electric jug’ hardly made an appearance on this album, which can only be a good thing. It’s a shame Stacey Sutherland wasn’t the band leader for their other two studio recordings.

Bar-Kays – You can’t run away
One of their nicest 80s songs with some hints of Milton Wright’s best melodies. Classic!
