acid arab

Half of Acid Arab, Guido (Minisky) was a cofounder of Goldrush, a DJ collective who were playing mainly in bar and small night clubs. They were at the beginning of Le Baron, and many others hot spots, like for exemple Chez Moune. Since two years, he used to play under the name of Acid Arab… Check his guestlist !

Hedi Habbouba (Tunisia)

Aouicha

In all simplicity, men’s choir in good mood answers to flutes of snake’s charmers with a background of military percussions. Good tension, tough vibrations.

Fawzi Al-Aiedy (Irak)

Zourna drumes

Incredibly modern, this short track proposes a solo of flute, but it is the percussions, numerous, varied and endowed with a western feeling, which make the difference.

Ansambl Braće Petrović (Serbia)

Đamilin Čoček

Typically yugoslav, this composition fascinates by its oriental side. Quarters of tone hidden in the clarinet, charming farfisa and funky bass: a delicious UFO.

Κατερινα Καναρη (Greece)

Παρε Με Στην Αγκαδια Σου

Bar-Kays – You can’t run away
One of their nicest 80s songs with some hints of Milton Wright’s best melodies. Classic!
