Anarchist and rastafarian, Mikey Smith was maybe the best dub poet in Kingston. His album Mi Cyaan Believe It became a classic, after his death : murder by political opponents after he had heckled the Jamaican Minister of Culture at a political rally on 17 August 1983, Marcus Garvey’s Birthday !
