5th may 1944. Photographer Gjon Mili directs a short movie, in which several prominent jazz musicians got together for a rare filmed jam session : Lester Young, Red Callender, Harry Edison, Sid Catlett, Barney Kessel, Jo Jones, John Simmons, Illinois Jacquet… It will become later the main reference for jazz lovers.
