Reunion Island musician Alain Péters passed away in 1995. He was a sort of hippy, freshly extracted from of the post-psychedelic seventies. Ever since his debut, this postmodern griot has held the breath of the freedom, the taste for the authentic, the desire for utopia. He opened up the maloya, whose musical roots carry the soul and tears of the Free Negros, as shown on this rare document dated 1977.
